Low Cost Spay/Neuter

Lee County’s SNYP program is available to residents of Lee County, Alabama with annual household incomes under $30,000.

CARE’s SNYP+ program serves those in Lee County earning between $30,000 and $50,000 annually.

The Lee County Spay and Neuter Your Pets (SNYP) program assists community members who may not otherwise be able to afford spay or neuter services for their pets. The program is funded by the Lee County Commission, Auburn City Council, Opelika City Council, and Smiths Station City Council, and is designed to help prevent pet overpopulation.

CARE’s role in the SNYP program is to collect and submit applicant information. Please note that additional documentation may be required, and acceptance into the SNYP program is determined at the discretion of Animal Health Center or Opelika Animal Hospital.
