The Assisi Society provides those who can give at higher levels the opportunity to enhance the quality of life for lost, homeless, and abandoned animals temporarily housed at CARE Humane Society™. Both the Cities of Opelika and Auburn contract with the CARE for their animal control services, but those contracts only provide 26% of our budget. We are dependent upon adoption fees and private contributions for 74% of our operating budget. The Assisi Society was created in 2015 to honor those that have given over $1,000.

We are so thankful for all our Assisi Society Members. Without their donations we wouldn't get the necessary items we need to keep running.
